Who we are
Remedy ("Remedy," "we," "us") is a mobile application that provides structured, video-guided exercise programs for back pain recovery. This policy explains what information we collect when you use the Remedy iOS app or visit remedyrecoveries.com, how we use it, and the choices you have.
Information we collect
- Account information. When you create an account we collect your email address and authentication details. If you sign in with Apple or Google, we receive the identifier and email your provider shares with us.
- Onboarding and health-related answers. To personalize your program, we ask about your back pain — for example where it hurts, how long you've had it, and your activity level. This information is used solely to build and adapt your exercise program.
- Usage and progress data. We record which sessions you complete and your before-and-after pain check-ins so the app can track your progress.
- Analytics data. We use PostHog to understand how the app is used (for example, which screens are visited and where users drop off). Analytics events are associated with a pseudonymous identifier.
- Purchase information. Subscriptions are processed by Apple through the App Store. We receive subscription status (for example, active or expired) but never your payment card details.
How we use your information
- To create and personalize your recovery program.
- To track your session history and pain trends inside the app.
- To operate, secure, and improve the app.
- To send transactional emails such as account confirmation and password reset.
- To manage your subscription and provide customer support.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use your health-related answers for advertising.
Service providers
We rely on a small set of processors to run Remedy: Supabase (authentication and database hosting), PostHog (product analytics), Superwall (paywall presentation), Apple (payments and sign-in), Cloudflare (content delivery and video hosting), and Resend (transactional email). Each provider receives only the data needed to perform its function.
Data retention and deletion
We keep your data for as long as your account exists. You can request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting remedyappco@gmail.com, and we will delete it within 30 days except where retention is required by law.
Security
Your data is stored with access controls (including row-level security) so that only you can access your own records. Data is encrypted in transit.
Children
Remedy is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the revised version here with an updated date, and for material changes we will notify you in the app.
