Terms of Service

These terms are a working draft pending attorney review. They reflect how Remedy operates but may be revised.

1. Agreement

By creating an account or using the Remedy iOS app or remedyrecoveries.com (together, the "Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Not medical advice

Remedy provides general exercise guidance and educational content. It is not medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment, and it is not a substitute for care from a physician, physical therapist, or other qualified healthcare provider. Always consult a healthcare provider before beginning an exercise program, and stop immediately and seek medical attention if you experience severe pain, numbness, weakness, loss of bladder or bowel control, or other concerning symptoms.

3. Assumption of risk

Physical exercise carries inherent risk of injury. You are responsible for exercising within your limits and using appropriate equipment safely. To the maximum extent permitted by law, you assume all risks associated with performing exercises presented in the Service.

4. Eligibility and accounts

You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. Provide accurate information during onboarding — your program is built from your answers.

5. Subscriptions and billing

• Remedy offers auto-renewing subscriptions (monthly and annual) purchased through Apple's App Store.
• Payment is charged to your Apple ID account. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• You can manage or cancel your subscription in your App Store account settings. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.
• Where offered, free trials convert to a paid subscription unless cancelled before the trial ends.
• Refunds are handled by Apple under App Store policies.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the Service — including attempting to access other users' data, reverse engineering the app, scraping or redistributing content, or using the Service in violation of applicable law.

7. Intellectual property

The Service, including all exercise videos, program content, text, and branding, is owned by Remedy or its licensors and protected by intellectual property laws. We grant you a limited, personal, non-transferable license to use the Service for your own recovery. You may not copy, distribute, or create derivative works from our content.

8. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose. We do not guarantee any particular health outcome or that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Remedy will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any injury arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim will not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose.

10. Termination

You may stop using the Service and request account deletion at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for violation of these terms. Sections 2, 3, and 7–9 survive termination.

11. Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. We will post the revised version here with an updated date, and for material changes we will notify you in the app. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
